Cyber-Stalking- A Crime with Serious Ramifications:  This is an accurate summary of an Cyber-Bullying incident which occurred in 2016:  The Cyber-Stalker was identified as Darren Ambler, who was a Southern New Jersey resident at the time this incident occurred:

Summary of Case/ Incident:  Darren Ambler through "Proofs" obtained was identified as a Cyber-Stalker.  The "Victim" in this case {name omitted} and Mr. Darrren Ambler developed a friendship in 2014 which lasted approximately two {2} years.  

Apparently, sometime in 2015 Darren Ambler began engaging in secretive and inappropriate behaviors.  The Victim {former friend} noticed the behavioral changes over time and confronted Darren Ambler about the matter on April 16, 2016.  After being confronted the friendship between the parties Terminated indefinitely. 

Fearing the Victim would disclose the truth about Darren Ambler and his inappropriate activities which also included compulsive lying, he began to retaliate against the Victim.  Up to this point the Victim and Darren Ambler were Facebook friends.  The two also shared a number of mutual friends on the Facebook forum.

Concerned that the Victim would reveal facts about Darren Ambler's inappropriate and secretive behaviors to Facebook mutual friends and others, Mr. Ambler began Cyber-Stalking his former friend on the Facebook forum.  Even after the former friend "unfriended" Darren Ambler on Facebook, Mr. Ambler continued his Stalking Tirade against the Victim. 

Darren Ambler began his Deliberate Cyber-Bullying activity against the Victim on or about April 19, 2016.  The activity came to an end on or about August 1, 2016.   Darren Ambler would access the Victim's Facebook page several times a day.  Darren Ambler monitored the Victim's Facebook activity daily.  In addition,  Mr. Ambler  payed close attention to the Victim Facebook posts as well as the Victims Facebook friend list.

Darren Ambler attempted to interfere with communication between the Victim and select mutual friends.  Obviously, Darren Ambler had a great deal to lose if others believed that the Victim was telling the truth about Darren Ambler and his Immoral behaviors.  Therefore, Darren Ambler had to discredit anything the Victim told others particularly "mutual friends" on Facebook.   Darren Ambler began sending "False" and "Slanderous" messages about his former friend to select Facebook friends.

Darren Ambler used Facebook Messenger to transmit these messages about the Victim to select Facebook friends.   Mr. Ambler also instructed "select Facebook mutual friends" to "unfriend" the Victim immediately.  Mr. Ambler was not discreet and made no effort to hide his identity during his three and a half months of terrorizing the Victim in this case.

Mr. Ambler's lack of discretion left a paper trail of powerful evidence in favor of the Victim that without a doubt would have won this case.  The Victim knew what was taking  place at the hands of Darren Ambler.  The Victim hired an Experienced New Jersey Attorney and an Investigation quickly ensued.   Facebook cooperated fully with the Investigation.

The Attorney was well versed with computer crime and secured a Subpoena due to "Probable Cause".   The Subpoena was signed by the Judge and Served via Sheriff Department to Facebook Corporate in Menlo-Park California in July 2016.   All Facebook confidential data pertaining to Mr. Amblers Facebook account was released to the Victim's Attorney.

The data obtained by Subpoena was compelling and it told a disturbing story about Darren Ambler.   Mr. Ambler had no idea an Investigation was underway.  He was notified on August 1, 2016 the day his Facebook account was closed Indefinitely.   Darren Ambler was also BANNED  from Facebook Indefinitely.  Facebook takes these issues Seriously.

The Investigation lasted approximately five weeks.  The Evidence was Compelling and Indisputable.  Mr. Ambler did not have a chance of getting away with this in open court.  Cyber-Stalking is a Felony Crime with harsh punishment and court fines.    Courts hand down severe penalties for even first time offenders.

In addition to the fact that Darren Ambler committed a Crime, he also demonstrated that he is not Responsible or Mature enough to maintain a Facebook account.   Most would agree, Mr. Ambler has some serious issues.

IP Address data, copies of Messenger messages, log information, friend list, message transmittal logs are powerful evidence that are necessary to prove a Cyber-Stalking case.   Thanks to Mr. Ambler's careless acts, he provided the opposing party a wealth of powerful evidence.
